Books sold online, often at discounted prices, are becoming increasingly important as people search for their next purchase.

In a recent survey by book retailer BookStar, the company found that over half of all booksellers surveyed have already started offering discounts on used books, including Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.

In addition, book retailers are finding they are facing increasing competition from online book sellers.

BookStar reported that online bookseller Penguin Random House saw an 11% rise in its book sale sales in the first quarter, while Amazon saw a 25% increase in the same period.

The online bookseller eBooks and Amazon have also been hit hard by the rise in ebook sales.

Both of them have been facing increasing pressures due to their popularity in developing countries.

Both are now offering discounting on some used books for sale.

But, Amazon is currently offering its own discount on books sold at its own retail outlets, while eBooks is offering a 30% discount on used book sales.

Both online bookstores have struggled in recent years.

The combined total of online book sales has dropped from a peak of $3.6 billion in 2013 to $1.5 billion in 2014.

According to the report, online book publishers are experiencing a shortage of new and used books and that a significant number of booksellies are also struggling to fill their inventory.

The BookStar survey revealed that 70% of book publishers said they have already experienced an inventory shortage and more than a third of book sellers said they are currently facing inventory shortages.

According a survey by the International Association of Booksellers (IAB) last year, there were a total of 4,039 bookstores in the world.

Only 2,500 booksellings are open, and the majority of bookselling businesses are closed.
